The monuments to Hovhannes Tumanyan and Alexander Spendiaryan removed from the vicinity of Opera House last year have been re-inaugurated in Yerevan’s Liberty Square.
The monuments were removed in October 2008 for the construction of an underground parking intended for 500 cars.
The construction realized by a joint project of Renco ArmEstate and ArmProject Ltd was approved by European leading companies.
Each floor of the three-storey parking has 3.06 meters of height.
The building has fire-control system, fire extinguishers and special water tank. Entry and exit are from Tumanyan street.
During the official unveiling Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan said the construction costs mounted to 4 billion drams.
